REV\u00a0accepting applications for Reach-A-Kid, Teach-A-Kid grant program\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Applications open for $500 grant awards benefiting Ascension Parish schools\u00a0through\u00a0October 3<\/span><\/i>rd<\/i><\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Gonzales, La.\u00a0\u2013\u00a0REV\/REV Business<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span>is proud to announce the recent opening of its application period for its annual classroom grants program \u2013\u00a0<\/span>Reach-A-Kid, Teach-A-Kid.<\/a> Now through October 3rd, teachers can apply online for up to $500 to support creative classroom programs.<\/p>\n

The Reach-A-Kid, Teach-A-Kid grant program provides educators in Ascension Parish with funding for inventive and pioneering teaching projects. Each year, REV\/REV Business\u00a0funds\u00a0a total of ten\u00a0$500 grants to promote inspirational and resourceful\u00a0educators.<\/p>\n

\u201cSupporting education has always been and will continue to be a primary focus of our local community efforts,\u201d says Josh Descant, CEO of REV\/REV Business. \u201cThe teachers of our educational system are responsible for the most important work that underpins many important aspects of our community, and it\u2019s always rewarding to see how much effort they invest and impact they make with the Reach-A-Kid, Teach-A-Kid program.\u201d<\/p>\n

For over 20 years,\u00a0the program has made awards totaling over $100,000.\u00a0Reaching all grade levels, K-12, this grant opens the doors to creative thinking for students and teachers.\u00a0Past winning\/funded grants included upgraded computer peripherals, cooking and meal prep programs, building\/launching rockets, escape rooms, curriculum aiding in the development of fine motor skills, STEM projects, special education supports, bookbindery, robot-building, code-writing, agricultural sciences and more.<\/p>\n
