Contact Information:<\/strong> Monika Arnold, Manager of Community Relations and Business Development REV and CoBank team up, provide $20,500 to four local non-profits<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n Local, Louisiana-based communications provider and rural America-serving cooperative bank collaborate and donate to Southeast Louisiana community organizations<\/p>\n Gonzales, La.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>\u2013\u00a0<\/span>REV<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>recently partnered with\u00a0<\/span>CoBank<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>through their annual\u00a0<\/span>Sharing Success<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>program to provide surprise donations to four local non-profits making a difference in South Louisiana.<\/p>\n Annually, CoBank \u2013 a cooperative bank focusing on corporate citizenship efforts \u2013 provides matching funds to enhance partners\u2019 donations to a selection of area nonprofits. Trusting that local partners, like REV, have an on-the-ground perspective about their communities\u2019 needs, CoBank\u2019s Sharing Success program has consistently doubled the local telecom\u2019s charitable donations.<\/p>\n Thanks to the dual impact of CoBank\u2019s Sharing Success program, REV was able to double funds contributed to four local non-profit organizations.<\/p>\n \u201cSupporting meaningful causes and partnering alongside local organizations continue to remain central to REV\u2019s commitment to give back to the communities we serve and connect,\u201d said Josh Descant, CEO of REV. \u201cIn an effort to promote and enhance the missions of these deserving non-profits, REV is proud to partner with CoBank and, together, effectively double our donations to make an even more considerable impact.\u201d<\/p>\n This year, the following non-profits were beneficiaries of REV and CoBank\u2019s Sharing Success program (receiving the below amounts after REV\u2019s and CoBank\u2019s partnership matches were applied):<\/p>\n \u201cThe Sharing Success program is ultimately an investment into the communities, leveling up what REV provides and truly making a difference,\u201d said Monika Arnold, REV\u2019s Community Relations and Business Development manager. \u201cThis repeat collaboration with CoBank is deeply appreciated \u2013 helping those who are facilitating incredible outcomes right here in South Louisiana.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cFor many years, REV, formerly EATEL, and CoBank have supported the fight against ALS by sponsoring The ALS Association Louisiana-Mississippi Chapter\u2019s annual Walk to Defeat ALS\u00ae. In addition, Peter Louviere [REV\u2019s CFO] is an avid supporter, raising thousands of dollars through his team, \u2018Lou\u2019s Mission,\u2019\u201d said Frankie Erwin, office administrator, ALS. \u201cWe are grateful that REV and CoBank have once again partnered to provide a $2,500 Bronze Sponsorship for the 2023 Louisiana Walk to Defeat ALS\u00ae as we strive to make ALS a livable disease.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThe REV\/CoBank donation is what fuels the Hammond Northshore Regional Airshow,\u201d said Lacy Landrum, Airshow Chair. \u201cIt brings us together to be inspired by pilots flying incredible stunts with their aircraft.
