REV recognizes $1M in scholarships awarded to South Louisiana high school seniors<\/strong>
Since 1984, REV\u2019s scholarship program has supported 247 graduating seniors<\/em><\/p>\n

Gonzales, La.<\/strong> \u2013 REV<\/a> recently awarded scholarships to seniors throughout its South Louisiana service area at various high schools\u2019 awards ceremonies held at the close of the school year \u2013 eclipsing a $1M milestone in 2025.<\/p>\n

Continuing its decades-spanning commitment to education, REV\u2019s scholarship program recently expanded to other communities where its residential services are available.<\/p>\n

\u201cParallelling our communities\u2019 rising demand for our services, it was the right time to grow our graduating seniors\u2019 access to this celebrated scholarship program,\u201d said Tressy Leindecker, executive vice president of Sales and Marketing. \u201cWe\u2019re honored to award our 2025 winners but are even more excited about our scholarship fund\u2019s future impact \u2013 growing alongside REV\u2019s reach into other parts of the state.\u201d<\/p>\n

Founded in 1984 \u2013 in what was then Latelco\u2019s service area of Lafourche Parish and Grand Isle \u2013 during the program\u2019s 41-year legacy, 247 graduating seniors have earned college-supporting scholarships from the local communications provider.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re incredibly proud of the now-41-year impact REV\u2019s scholarship program has delivered,\u201d said Peter Louviere, REV\u2019s CFO. \u201cAs a dedicated investment in our state\u2019s future workforce, this program not only supports talented, academically achieving individuals but also strengthens our great state by retaining bright minds who\u2019ll contribute to Louisiana\u2019s long-term economic and social growth.\u201d<\/p>\n
